1 John 4:12-14

¹² No one has ever seen God [^CGod the Father; John 1:18], but if we love each other, God ·lives [remains; abides] ·in [or among] us, and his love ·is made perfect [is made complete; comes to full expression] in us.

¹³ [^LBy this] We know that we ·live [abide; remain] in God and he ·lives [abides; remains] in us, because he gave us [^Lof; from; 3:24] his Spirit [^Cwe share in his Spirit]. ¹⁴ We have seen and can ·testify [witness; proclaim] that the Father sent his Son ·to be [or as] the Savior of the world.
